Meizu has turned a new page in its smartphone portfolio with the official announcement of the m1 note. The phone is the first member of the company's Blue Charm line-up, or at least that's its rough translation from "Meilan" in Chinese.

Meizu m1 note

The Meizu m1 note features a 5.5" IGZO display of 1080p resolution making for a pixel density of 400ppi. The phone utilizes the 64-bit MT6752 chipset with an octa-core 2.0GHz Cortex-A53 CPU, a Mali-T760 GPU and 2GB of RAM.

The Meizu m1 note measures 75.2 x 150.7 x 8.9mm and weighs 145 grams with a 3,140mAh battery. At the back, there's a 13MP camera made by Samsung and shoots 1080p videos. A 5MP camera takes up the front with a 4-element lens.

The Meizu m1 note has a unibody polycarbonate chassis and can take two SIM cards with a tray that's accessed from the side. The phone is available in green, pink, blue, yellow and white.

Meizu is pricing the 16GB version of the phone at just $160 (INR 10150), which is an amazing value. We are yet to receive availability information, but here's hoping the company gets this phone to the market as soon as possible
